HOUSEKEEPER – HENLEY ON THAMES – LIVE IN

LOCATION – HENLEY ON THAMES

 

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Housekeeper for a client based in Henley on Thames – This role is exclusively with Bespoke Britannia. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Housekeeper who has flexibility to meet the demands of a busy household, we are looking for someone to be flexible with work patterns when the client is in residence and in return ample downtime will be provided as well as accommodation.

Key Responsibilities:

    • The role will include cleaning and supporting in the smooth running of the property. Ensuring that a high standard of cleanliness is maintained.
    • It is essential that you have experience with cooking family meals at this will be part of the role. This will need to be evidenced in your work history, within a similar setting.
    • General duties include but are not limited to cleaning, washing, ironing, hoovering and dusting, changing bedding and laundry.
    • Supporting with serving of meals and occasional setting up for events & dinners.
    • Ensuring that the correct products are used for cleaning, maintenance of antique furniture and other delicate materials.

Requirements:

    • You must have been working in a similar role within a large private household, and have a good understanding of the processes.
    • You must have good time management and be able to ensure that all cleaning duties are complete and meals are prepared and ready on time.
    • We are looking for someone that is self-motivated, and has the ability to manage their own workload.
    • You will need to be discreet, professional and can use your own initiative.
    • We are looking for someone with the flexibility to work weekends as the client is only in residence over the weekend – This will not be every weekend but flexibility is key.

Package

    • The client is offering a long-term PAYE role for the right candidate, £35-40K DOE.
    • The schedule is typically 5 days per week including weekends when the client is in residence – roughly 6 months throughout the year.
    • There will be accommodation provided with this role, currently an apartment which will then be upgraded to a two bed cottage.
    • This is a great opportunity to work in a beautiful setting, which you are able to make the most of with the provided accommodation.
